Sling has annonced a couple of products during CES 2008 which include the SlingCatcher, SlingPlayer 2.0 with Clip+Sling, and Sling Cable modem as pointed by Ryan Block over at Engadget. I am really interested in the new version of the SlingPlayer Software which provides a 60min cache feature which will really make it easy to forward and rewind which seems to be a drawback when using the current software.

Finally Amazon is getting up to speed and competing with more websites that offer software downloads as an alternative for waiting to get it in the mail. As pointed out by Lifehacker Adam Pash. Right now its windows only and you have install the application to your computer for it to work.

Lifehacker Adam Pash points to a new torrent search site called YouTorrent which is specially good for finding obscure files as it searches through all the popular torrent sites. As usual Lifehacker is always on top of the coolest stuff.

Lifehacker Kevin Purdy pointed a website called Symbaloo which lets you create your own website start page with buttons pointing to different things on your site and shows it in the middle.

Lifehacker Adam Pash points to a really nice new website call WiiHealthy which incorporates 30 to 45mins of Wii Sports providing you with a 10 week plan to lose weight.

Lifehacker Kyle Pott points to a really cool project to help people tech or no tech savvy create websites. It’s Open Source Web Design and  seems like really great idea.
